24im includes:

  • I-mail (internal-mail) messaging system for quick, secure offline messaging.
  • Presence and activity changes are notified via optional alert system which can be modified to different levels of detail.
  • Share files publicly, privately, or with select individuals and workgroups. File activity is optionally logged so your group never wastes time on figuring out which file to download, which file to ignore.
  • Create chat rooms at the public level, private level, or within workgroups to facilitate discussions.
  • Full customizable representation for users, from screen name to the standard Last Name, First Name layout. User accounts are strictly controlled by the server admin, ensuring that access is granted specifically.
  • Screen capture technology included for easy screenshot grabbing and sharing. Drag-and-drop captured images directly into active chat conversations to allow co-workers to view your work. Images are organized in a separate tab, indexed by order of receipt for easy preview and review. Images are automatically saved in user's Windows folder for access later on.
  • Optional, permission-based remote capture technology to allow co-workers access to your screen. Controlled at the server level, remote screen capture permissions allows the organization to decide how much can be shared and who can decide what to be shared.
